Shooting Louisville vs. Georgetown Basketball

There are not many situations when I would willingly confine myself to a 2 by 3 foot box… But this is one of them! One of my clients was able to get me a press pass for tonight’s Georgetown vs. Louisville game! I had a blast. I love capturing moments when they are happening.

Here Preston Knowles puts one in for Louisville.

Dan DeWilde

I love the waterfall in Jennifer Bailey’s photos. Could you share where that is in Louisville? I’ve lived here all my life and haven’t seen anything so beautiful except in Greenville, SC.

Charley and Karen’s Louisville Engagement Session

Charley and Karen have been looking forward to their Engagement Session for a long time, but it was worth the wait. We had a blast together. They looked great against all that Fall colors and they were so excited so it made my job really fun. I just love hanging out with couples in love.  I hope you enjoy these!

Meagan & Steve’s Louisville Wedding

Here are just a few images from Meagan & Steve’s Walnut Street Baptist church wedding.  They got married Saturday at Walnut Street Baptist Church and as a Louisville wedding photographer I’m always glad to photograph at this gorgeous church building in old Louisville. It is beautiful inside and out that gave me lots of opportunity to use my wide angle and even my fish-eye lens.  The intricate work of this old building makes for some beautiful Louisville wedding photography. The ring bearer and the flower girl were just adorable as well. I could not help but give them their own little portrait session.  Her bouquet was quite lively with a variety of vibrant colors, but without question the show shopper of the day was making herself.  She looked absolutely stunning and made my job a breeze.  We were able to create some beautiful portraits with the trees lining the street right outside the church and then we also made use of the fabulous large stained-glass windows of this historic church building. After the wedding we all headed over to Kye’s in Jeffersonville for the reception.  it was an honor to be a part of the celebration and everyone could see that it was definite time for these two to tie the knot.  Their tender affection and obvious love for one another was refreshing. It was a great day. Congratulations Steve and Meagan! I wish you the best  in the years to come and pray God will bless you with a joyful and strong marriage.
