I'm glad you stopped by. My name is David Blair and I am a Louisville Wedding Photographer. My goal as a wedding photographer is to provide brides and grooms throughout Kentucky, Indiana and anywhere worldwide with stunning photographic images and presentations. I strive to produce unique and artistic images that preserve the romance, emotions and overall vibe of weddings in an unobtrusive manner. I absolutely love my job and never get tired of shooting couples on their happiest day. Each wedding is a different and unique experience that pushes me to be even more creative.
I discovered I had an eye for photography when I was first handed a camera in high school. With yearbook providing the film, I was able to continually improve and hone my skill. I had found my niche. In college, I took a variety of photography classes which taught me the technical side of photography, and I then furthered my skill by attending photography conferences and workshops. Now after 12 years of photographing weddings, I love it more than ever.
Martin & Noëlle’s Session in Paris at Notre-Dame Cathedral along the River Seine was so fun to photograph. As a destination wedding photographer it’s hard to think of any setting more romantic than working in the city of love. I was in Paris to shoot a destination wedding, but was able to also book this session during the trip. I noticed lots of other happy couples as we started our session and as Martin & Noëlle began to take a walk I started thinking about how many couples have walked hand in hand along this river admiring the intricate Gothic architecture of the 800 year old cathedral just like these two. Martin & Noëlle stand in a long line of those who have been so blessed to find someone to cherish and love. I am so thankful to God for the incredible gift of Love and I only wish I could have walked along the river with my incredible wife as well, but alas, not on this trip. I also enjoyed working on the Love-Lock bridge in which couples sign a lock, attach it to the bridge and throw the key into the river symbolizing their unbreakable love. Martin & Noëlle decided to share an ice cream cone while sitting on one of the bridges before we made our way over to the Eiffel tower to finish the session at sunset. They were such an affectionate couple and their love for one another was obvious to anyone who saw them. I was so glad to spend the afternoon with them.
One of David's photos made the cover of Sophisticated Living Weddings. The magazine also featured the wedding which took place at the famous Seelbach Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY.
