I'm glad you stopped by. My name is David Blair and I am a Louisville Wedding Photographer. My goal as a wedding photographer is to provide brides and grooms throughout Kentucky, Indiana and anywhere worldwide with stunning photographic images and presentations. I strive to produce unique and artistic images that preserve the romance, emotions and overall vibe of weddings in an unobtrusive manner. I absolutely love my job and never get tired of shooting couples on their happiest day. Each wedding is a different and unique experience that pushes me to be even more creative.
I discovered I had an eye for photography when I was first handed a camera in high school. With yearbook providing the film, I was able to continually improve and hone my skill. I had found my niche. In college, I took a variety of photography classes which taught me the technical side of photography, and I then furthered my skill by attending photography conferences and workshops. Now after 12 years of photographing weddings, I love it more than ever.
As a Louisville and Lexington wedding photographer I love every opportunity I get to go photograph on private horse farms. The horse country surrounding Lexington is gorgeous with so many winding roads lined with old rock walls going over an endless number of hills. The tree-lined streets and seemingly unending stables make it such a joy to be a wedding photographer in Lexington, KY. Then add my favorite season of the year and it’s no wonder, that although this is my busiest couple months of shooting, I love every minute of it. In the midst of autumn, I am out shooting almost daily. Frances and Joe manage to get their Lexington Engagement Session with the fall colors at their peak vibrance and it made the session that much better. They chose to start their KY Engagement Session at Keenland race track and then finish up at the beautiful horse farm Frances manages. The massive property with 145 horses on the rolling hills with paddock upon paddock was a wonderful setting and the comfortable weather and late afternoon sunlight added to our enjoyable time. Of course the best part was getting to photograph a couple that is truly in love. Joe and Frances are a fun pair. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and learning more about the Horse racing industry. It was also fun getting to hear about all of their wedding plans. They will be getting married in the village Adare in Limerick, Ireland in just a few weeks. Best of luck to both of you and early congratulations!
