Kristin & Nathan’s Louisville Wedding – Frazier Museum

.jpg)
Kristin & Nathan were wed on the downtown rooftop of the Frazier Museum. The view of both the city and the river made an excellent backdrop for this Louisville wedding at the Frazier Museum. As a Louisville wedding photographer I always enjoy Frazier Museum weddings but we were all nervous as to whether or not we would actually be able to go on the rooftop, since earlier in the day it was pouring rain. We were all thankful a break in the storm came just at the time the ceremony was planned. As the guests were taking their seats it was dark, windy and sprinkling, but as the first bridesmaid began to walk down the aisle the sun broke through the clouds allowing everything to go as planned… well almost everything. See the images from the ceremony below to see what was wrong. The reception room was decorated well with up lighting and custom tabletops made by the bride and her bridesmaids. Although the photo of grandma dancing is a close runner-up, I think my favorite image from this wedding is the one on the rooftop with the wind blowing the bride’s veil.
Here are the other great vendors from the wedding. Coordinator: Ellen Fox, ShaFox Weddings & Events – Venue: Frazier Museum – Caterer: The Catering Company – Cake: Sweet Surrender and Photo Booth: River City Photo Booth
I just loved her ring!
As I alluded to before, almost everything went according to plan, but it certainly was windy throughout the whole ceremony. At one point Kristin’s long veil went right into Nathan’s face and then ripped off her head flying into the air. But as you can see in the photos below, Kristin was able to quickly reach up and snatch it before it flew off the rooftop.
Ellen from ShaFox Weddings & Events did a fabulous job making sure the decorations for the reception looked amazing.
Not even grandma could stay off the dance floor once the party really got rocking.
