I love that my job as a Lexington wedding photographer allows me to express my creativity. One of the challenges and opportunities that forces me out of the box is working with each of the four seasons. Here are just a few photos from Kendal and Ryan’s Lexington Engagement Session we did in the heart of winter. There was no snow on the ground, but it was certainly chilly. We started outside and in the cold whether it was certainly easy for the two of them to be rather affectionate because as they joked if they weren’t they would probably freeze. I absolutely love the old stone walls surrounding the city of Lexington because they give images such a signature look. We worked with some horse fences before heading down to the University of Kentucky campus to find some other backdrops. We made use of a brick wall and path and a iron gate before we just got too cold and had to find some place to work inside. We shared a nice dinner together and got to know one another better before shooting the unique Lexington engagement photo shown above. I love the modern, urban look of the two of them consumed with one another while taking a ride on the escalator and the artwork behind them. This romantic kiss took place in the very hotel they are getting married in next month. I can’t wait to create some fabulous Lexington wedding photography was these two in just a few weeks. Their natural affection towards one another and their seemingly never-ending smiles and cozy hugs is bound to make my work easy on their wedding day. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage Kendal and Ryan! I am glad I will get to be there to celebrate with you.
