Jigna and Kal are Engaged!

Kal popped the question.  She said Yes!!!

As a Louisville wedding photographer one of the exciting and unique things I get asked to do is to photograph proposals as they happen. Kal contacted me recently because he was planning to pop the question in Louisville and he wanted to have it well documented. Today was the day and I spent the afternoon secretly photographing the proposal. Here is the story. Kal drove up to Louisville this weekend to celebrate Jigna’s birthday. On their way out for a night on the town at one of Louisville’s finest restaurants Kal took her to a park for a little picnic with wine and appetizers. Then as they sat overlooking a beautiful view of a lush green forests Kal pulled out her birthday present which was a scrapbook filled with photos of their relationship. They looked through the book together and  laughed as they were reminded of all the fun times they have had together. On the last page it said, “Will you marry me?” He got on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked the most important question of his life.

She loved it! Kal planned it out well and managed to catch Jigna completely by surprise. A few minutes later I came much closer and she realize that I was part of the surprise. Then we did a few photos together before they went off to a romantic dinner.
