Indianapolis Wedding Photography

Whether you choose to get hitched downtown or head out into the country to have a vineyard wedding Indianapolis is an excellent area to get married.  As an Indianapolis wedding photographer David Blair loves all of the different backdrops available to him to create unique wedding portraits. From the fabulous hotels such as the Omni Severin or the Alexander and excellent reception venues like Lauren Hall to the simplicity of a country field or a private horse farm there is so much for a photographer to work with.  If you were wondering what you should discuss with a photographer early on? In general, you’ll need to tell your photographer about all of your wedding plans, as well as any special requests or specific family dynamics. A couple should share their expectations, and basic likes and dislikes of a certain style of images. It’s also really important that you let your photographer get to know you, so that he can let your personality show in your images and suggest things you will like.

For David the typical wedding day schedule for his impressive Indianapolis wedding photography looks something like this.  David arrives long before the guests to get pictures of everyone getting ready and important detail shots. After doing some individual portraits most couples see each other beforehand and take some comfortable portraits with them interacting. With most of the “formal” pictures out of the way the couple can make their marriage vows and then quickly get to the celebration with their guests. Once the ceremony starts most of David’s day is strictly photojournalistic as he documents all the happenings. Then, after the dance party dies down and the couple leaves with their big farewell, it’s finally time for David to pack up and head on home. Each wedding is a little different and of course he always lets the bride ultimately determine the schedule, but many look something like this.  David would love to here what you have planned and discuss  your photography needs.  Please fill out the Contact Form to get in touch with David or to see more of David’s images you can view his Portfolio.
