Caroline and Ersno’s Louisville Wedding

Caroline and Ersno’s Louisville wedding location was held at the home of Caroline’s parents. The private residence was an excellent choice for this intimate Louisville area wedding location. After flying up to New York to do their engagement session I had been anticipating their wedding with even more excitement than normal.  Although it was just a weekend we spent together I was coming to photograph the wedding of friends.  It was a cold day filled with warm laughter, tears and overflowing joy. I love the image of Caroline getting ready by the window in her mother’s bedroom as well as the image of her greeting Ersno’s mother with so much excitement before the ceremony. Ersno’s father is a preacher and he made for a very lively marriage ceremony that was quite enjoyable for everyone. Ersno’s father was passionate and serious while he explained what the Scripture teaches about marriage. At the same time he was absolutely hilarious. I do not think he was trying to be funny, but there was something so sincere about his lively explanation that everyone had to smile. If you look carefully you’ll notice that in most of the images from the ceremony people are laughing. At one point Ersno was so taken over with the humor of the moment that he rested his head upon his brides shoulder and laughed. Mark with Jenkins Eliason Interiors along with In Bloom Again florist made the tent’s interior look amazing.  The extra touches of hanging chandeliers, dripping fabric and curtains around the edge made the tent truly elegant. A cocktail hour was held inside the home itself while the tent in the backyard was transformed into a perfect reception venue.  This Louisville wedding location tent reception could make any bride jealous. The lavish centerpieces with vibrant colors and elegant place settings matched the superior quality of meal that was served. Chef Josh Moore of Volare restaurant was on hand to ensure that every cut of beef, vegetable and scallop was cooked to perfection. He also provided the decadent cakes.  Speaking of the cakes, looking at those images makes me wish I had another slice right now. While the guest enjoyed their dinner the very talented Rick Bartlett kept the guests entertained while he sang and played piano. It was a sophisticated celebration were everyone was made to feel at home. Thank you again for letting me be part of your wedding day. It was truly an honor to document.
