Then everyone made their way downstairs to a cocktail hour, complete with first class hors d’oeuvres. Meanwhile the Brown staff along with Ellen Fox of ShaFox Events transformed the Crystal ballroom preparing it for the elegant dinner reception. Andrew and Amanda took a sneak peek at the room and even made time for a couple pictures before the guest made their way to their seats. After the scrumptious multi-course dinner there were toasts, the cutting of the cake and the first dance. Then with all the formalities out-of-the-way the live band got the party started with what is personally my favorite part of Jewish marriage ceremonies my, the Hora. It is a lively dance that involves circling around the couple and then eventually hoisting them above the crowd on chairs. It always makes for great images and is so much fun to be apart of! To my surprise the dance floor was filled with a similar level of intensity for almost the entirety of the night. This crew would not stop dancing for anything it seemed! The whole day was a joy to photograph and I was honored to be apart.
