Wedding photographers in Lexington and Louisville like myself enjoy the opportunity to travel throughout Kentucky documenting real moments and making romantic images of couples tying the knot. Additionally, I get to create more relaxed engagement photos throughout the state and sometimes even from coast-to-coast. It’s always fun to incorporate creative props or locations with sentimental value into engagement sessions as we did for this session. For Alex and Marci’s Engagement Session we drove out to their lake house. There was a lot to work with in the area. We made use of the beautiful old horse fence, a path through a lush forest, the dock and we even took the boat out on the Lake. They are such an attractive couple and they looked great whether they’re smiling or serious. They are playful and affectionate and simply had a good time spending the afternoon together. Her ring is gorgeous so I certainly had to do a close-up of it. Well done Alex! They pulled off their sunglasses and we made use of the late afternoon sun as well as many locations in the shade. She had seen the movie Up and decided it would be fun to bring a bunch of balloons as props. I loved it and think we got a lot of unique shops with them. Also, for you Pinterest fanatics check out the hand made “love” banner which she brought along. We had a great time and I could not be more pleased with the images.
