Brandon and Amy’s Louisville Wedding

As a Louisville wedding photographer one of my favorite thing to photograph is the emotional connection and affection between two people.  In order for most couples to be comfortable we have to take our time so that they do not feel rushed.  That being said I love it when clients block out a substantial amount of time for creating comfortable portraits of the two of them on their wedding day. Brandon and Amy’s Wedding at the Mellwood Art Center was lots of fun and I really appreciated how Brandon rented a limo to take us around to a variety of locations and shoot throughout the city.  We were able to create beautiful Louisville wedding photography in lush green parks and on the city’s newest ultramodern walking bridge as well as across the river with the whole cityscape as a backdrop.  The whole time we were not rushed and it made all the difference.  We had a great time together shooting  almost all their portraits before the ceremony which allowed them to quickly get to their reception and enjoy the party with their guests.  I absolutely loved Amy’s bouquet with so many different vibrant flowers bundled together and her shoes had some serious bling! Their wedding favors were a humorous drink insulator that had their names and wedding date on one side and on the back said, “To have and to hold and to keep your beer cold!”  They also thoughtfully considered their guests by providing a crate full of flip-flops so their guests could kick off their heels and dance more comfortably. Everyone had a great time and I was honored to document the day. Congratulations Brandon and Amy!
