Adam and Kim’s Engagement Session

I love the springtime and as a Louisville wedding photographer when the blossoms begin to cover the trees my schedule quickly fills up. Adam and Kim were among the many who chose to do their Louisville Engagement Session when the spring colors hit there peak.  As the weather has finally warmed up, hanging out by the creek in Cherokee Park made for a comfortable and romantic afternoon.  The subtle hints of springtime color on the tree branches and even among the blades of grass throughout the session helped to give it the whimsical feel that it has. I love the simple image of them holding hands and her newest piece of jewelry adorning her ring finger. Adam and Kim truly are as happy and carefree as they look in these images.  We had a fabulous time together and I enjoyed seeing how playful these two are. After hanging out to get these comfortable portraits in the park we headed downtown to shoot some with both the cityscape and in the midst of the city’s architecture. I can’t wait for their wedding this October.  I’m certainly saving the date and now with images from this session their friends and family will be able to as well when they receive their Save the Date postcard. They are planning to tie the knot at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Bardstown Road and their reception will be held atop the Kentucky Science Center overlooking the Ohio River in downtown Louisville.  I know it is going to rock and I’m certainly looking forward to being a part of Adam and Kim’s big day!
