As a wedding photographer in Lexington and Louisville, I travel throughout the Kentucky bluegrass to create romantic images of couples tying the knot and also more relaxed engagement photos. Keena and Emily wanted to do their Lexington engagement photography in the heart of horse country. It’s always fun to incorporate things or locations with sentimental value into engagement pictures so as we planned out their photo shoot they opted to do pictures where they had met and their love had blossomed, at Georgetown College. They shared story after story about how they had fallen in love while we walked around the college. We made use of several locations on campus and even took some pictures in front of their Sorority and Fraternity houses. We also got right down on the field at the football stadium. Next, we made our way to Emily’s parents home and took pictures nearby. We finished their Lexington engagement photography session out in the country, just outside of the city to show off the rolling hills with a seemingly endless amount of bales of hay and we were blessed with a spectacular sunset. Keena and Emily’s wedding like so many others was a referral from previous clients. In fact, Samantha whose wedding I photographed is going to be in their ceremony. It is fun when I get the opportunity to see previous clients smiling once again at a wedding. It is with eager expectation that I am looking forward to creating some beautiful wedding photography in Lexington next spring for these two. Congratulations on your engagement Keena and Emily and even more so on your future life together!
